IMUS CITY — More than 520 participants joined the vibrant PWDs’ Festival of Talents held on November 26, 2025, at the City of Imus Sports Complex, celebrating the creativity and abilities of persons with disabilities (PWDs).

The program was spearheaded by the Office of the Persons with Disability Affairs (OPDA), with Special Needs Education Program (SNED) Supervisor Riza Garcia serving as resource speaker. City officials, including Vice Mayor Homer T. Saquilayan and members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, also attended to show their support.

Ten SNED schools participated, showcasing a variety of performances in music, dance, visual arts, and other forms of creative expression. The festival provided a platform for PWDs to demonstrate their talents, boost self-confidence, and foster self-worth.

Beyond the performances, the festival highlighted inclusivity, the fight against discrimination, and the idea that disabilities do not define limitations but rather reflect unique forms of human potential. The event served as a powerful reminder of the contributions and capabilities of PWDs within the community. /PR
