Led by Mayor Strike Revilla, the inauguration ceremony was held at Bacoor Freedom Park, a site formerly known as Mabolo Plaza that has long served as a historic and cultural gathering place for Bacooreños. The newly unveiled monument now stands as a symbol of courage, sacrifice, and the enduring heritage of the city.
The project was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the City Engineering Office, headed by Engr. Jicky Jutba, and the Bacoor City Culture, History, Arts and Tourism Office led by Edwin Guinto.
The solemn and meaningful ceremony was attended by Vice Mayor Rowena B. Mendiola, Congresswoman Lani M. Revilla, members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, distinguished guests, descendants of local heroes, barangay officials, members of ABAKA, the Unity Band, and residents of the city.
The Bacoor Heroes Tower was blessed by Reverend Father Ramoncito Rodrin Tadepa, adding solemnity and spiritual significance to the historic occasion.
City officials said the Bacoor Heroes Tower serves as a lasting tribute to the invaluable contributions of Bacooreños to the nation’s history.
