Cavite Career Caravan Brings Employment Opportunities to Noveleta Residents

NOVELETA, Cavite — Job seekers in Noveleta were given new employment opportunities as the Office of the Provincial Public Employment Service Manager (OPPESM), headed by Ms. Rizalie Pinpin Enero, in partnership with the Municipal Government of Noveleta led by Mayor Davey Reyes Chua, successfully held the Cavite Career Caravan on October 3 at the Noveleta Town Plaza.


The event gathered 35 local companies and four international employers, offering a wide range of career options for 176 registered jobseekers, with 23 applicants hired on the spot.


Several national government agencies also joined the caravan, including the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Social Security System (SSS), Pag-IBIG Fund, and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), to assist applicants and residents in updating their records. The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) likewise participated by offering additional employment opportunities.


Demonstrating his commitment to transparency and community engagement, Mayor Chua went live on Facebook during the event to provide real-time updates, ensuring residents were well-informed and encouraged to participate.


Mayor Chua expressed his gratitude to Governor Juanito Victor “Jonvic” Remulla, OPPESM, and all partner agencies and organizations for their collaborative efforts in making the event a success.
