The Office of the Provincial Public Employment Service Manager (OPPESM), led by Ms. Rizalie Pinpin Enero, in partnership with the local government of Cavite City under the leadership of Mayor Denver R. Chua, successfully held the Cavite Career Caravan at Montaño Hall on November 13. The event aimed to expand employment opportunities and provide essential career services to Cavite City residents.

Mayor Denver R. Chua, together with Vice Mayor Raleigh Grepo Rusit and City Councilor Jet S. Barrera, expressed full support and actively participated in the initiative, reaffirming the city government’s commitment to uplifting jobseekers and strengthening local employment programs.

The Career Caravan gathered 155 registered jobseekers, along with 30 local companies and three international employers, offering a wide range of job openings across various industries. The event proved to be highly successful, with 27 applicants hired on the spot, reflecting that opportunities are attainable for those who come prepared and determined.

The activity forms part of Cavite Province’s continuous efforts—through OPPESM and its partnership with local governments—to empower jobseekers, connect them with reputable employers, and strengthen the local workforce. /PR
