BACOOR CITY, Cavite — The City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, joined forces with One Meralco Foundation to deliver educational and relief assistance to the residents of Ciudad De Strike on October 7, 2025.

During the community outreach activity held at the Ciudad De Strike Multi-purpose Hall, One Meralco Foundation donated school bags to students of Ciudad De Strike Integrated School, while the Bacoor LGU distributed relief goods to local households.

Adding to the day’s highlights, Ciudad De Strike became the first community in Bacoor to launch Meralco’s Kuryente Tipid Load (KTL) program—an initiative designed to help residents better manage their electricity consumption through affordable prepaid power options.

Mayor Revilla was joined by Liga ng mga Barangay (LNB) Vice President Randy Francisco, Barangay Molino I Captain Jeo “Boying” Dominguez, and members of the Barangay Council. Also in attendance were representatives from the Department of Education (DepEd) and Ciudad De Strike Integrated School.

Representing Meralco and One Meralco Foundation were Engr. TJ Gonzales (Head of Meralco Bacoor), Ms. Pia Flores (One Meralco Foundation), Engr. Neil Gallardo (Sales and Relationship Management Officer), Ms. Lena Abay (Customer Care Officer), and Mr. Garri M. Antioquia (Relationship Manager). Officers of the Ciudad De Strike Homeowners Association—Phase 1 President Thon Bernabe and Phase 2 President Imelda Lagra—were also present.

The initiative underscored Bacoor’s continuing commitment to community welfare, education, and sustainable living. With the launch of the Kuryente Tipid Load program, residents of Ciudad De Strike now have access to more affordable electricity options—paving the way for smarter and more cost-efficient energy use in the city. /PR
