IMUS CITY, Cavite — A total of 109 students from the City of Imus Integrated School visited the City of Imus Public Library on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, as part of the city’s program to promote literacy and library use among the youth.

During the visit, students were introduced to the library’s facilities and services, which include a collection of more than 8,000 books, 50 reading seats, a children’s room, computer room, training room, and the Im CORA (Imus City Online Reference Assistance) system.

Aside from the guided tour, the students also enjoyed a film showing at the Imus City Government Center Function Hall, adding an interactive element to the activity.

The initiative, dubbed Library Orientation for Schools and Film Viewing, aims to encourage young Imuseños to make full use of the public library as a resource for learning and discovery.

The City of Imus Public Library is located at the Lower Ground Floor of the New Imus City Government Center in Barangay Malagasang 1-G. It is open Mondays through Fridays, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. /PR
