Silang, Cavite — August 15, 2025 — Nearly 300 residents of Barangay Hukay in Silang benefited from a free medical and dental mission organized by the Provincial Government of Cavite (PGC) through the Office of the Provincial Governor in partnership with the Provincial Health Office.

A total of 299 individuals availed of services such as medical check-ups, dental consultations and extractions, electrocardiograms (ECGs), and X-rays. Free prescribed and maintenance medicines were also distributed to ensure continued support for the community’s healthcare needs.

The medical mission was carried out by the General Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital team and the OPG medical mission group, with assistance from Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) who helped ensure the smooth facilitation of services.

The initiative was also supported by 5th District Board Members Aidel Paul Belamide and Ivee Jayne Reyes, together with Punong Barangay Jonie Roy Ramos, who reaffirmed their commitment to improving the health and well-being of Silang residents.

The outreach program forms part of PGC’s ongoing efforts to expand healthcare access to communities across Cavite, particularly in underserved barangays. /PR
