Medical, Dental Mission Benefits 474 Residents in General Trias

GENERAL TRIAS CITY, Cavite — The Provincial Government of Cavite (PGC) conducted a Medical and Dental Mission in Barangay San Francisco, General Trias City, on July 29, bringing essential healthcare services closer to the community and benefiting 474 residents.

The outreach program provided free medical consultations, dental services, fasting blood sugar (FBS) tests, electrocardiogram (ECG) procedures, as well as the distribution of free medicines and vitamins through the Office of the Provincial Governor (OPG) medical mission team. The initiative aimed to promote preventive healthcare and improve access to basic medical services, particularly for residents with limited access to healthcare facilities.

The medical mission was carried out through the collaborative efforts of healthcare professionals from the General Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital (GEAMH), AMIGA District Hospital, and Kawit Kalayaan Hospital, with support from the Rural Health Unit (RHU) of Kawit dental team, Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), and barangay officials.

The activity forms part of the Provincial Government of Cavite’s continuing commitment to delivering accessible, quality healthcare services to communities across the province through regular medical outreach programs that promote early detection, disease prevention, and the overall well-being of Caviteños.
