Mayor Strike Leads Surprise Inspection of Wire Cleanup Along Bacoor-Dasmariñas Road

Bacoor City, Cavite – August 27, 2025 —Bacoor City Mayor Strike B. Revilla conducted a surprise inspection on Wednesday of the ongoing wire cleanup operations along Bacoor-Dasmariñas Road, underscoring the city government’s push for safety and order in public spaces.

The initiative, earlier mandated by the Mayor, aims to clear “spaghetti wires,” remove dead cables, trim branches obstructing power lines, and eliminate debris that could pose risks to motorists and residents. The project also covers the relocation of improperly positioned Meralco posts and transformers that may obstruct roadways or endanger the public.

Currently, cleanup efforts are concentrated in Barangay Molino 2, with plans to extend the operation to other sections of the Bacoor-Dasmariñas Road.

Mayor Revilla emphasized that the project reflects the city’s continuing commitment to public safety and environmental improvement. He urged workers to carry out the operations efficiently while strictly observing safety standards.
