Cavite Career Caravan Draws Over a Thousand Job Seekers in Naic

Naic, Cavite — More than a thousand job seekers trooped to the Cavite Career Caravan organized by the Provincial Government of Cavite through the Office of the Provincial Public Employment Service Manager (OPPESM) in partnership with the Municipality of Naic on August 22, 2025, at the Stadium Shopping Strip.
The one-day fair drew 1,131 applicants and featured 8,682 job vacancies from 52 participating companies. By the end of the event, 83 individuals were hired on the spot, underscoring the caravan’s role in providing immediate employment opportunities for Caviteños.
The opening program was graced by Naic Vice Mayor Jacinta Maria Remulla, members of the Sangguniang Bayan, and officials from the provincial government. Cavite SKF President Hon. Chelsea Sarno also joined the event, together with various provincial and municipal partners.
National government agencies such as SSS, PhilHealth, PAG-IBIG, PSA, DTI, NBI, TESDA, and DOLE extended their services during the caravan, while the Office of the Provincial Legal Officer offered free legal assistance. The Office of the Provincial Cooperatives Development Officer likewise showcased Cavite products at its booth, promoting local enterprises alongside employment support.
The Cavite Career Caravan forms part of the province’s continuing initiative to bring job opportunities closer to its residents while strengthening collaboration between the public and private sectors.
