“Police Bust Nigerian Nationals in Cavite Love Scam Hub, Rescues Four Illegally Detained Women”

The police arrested two Nigerian nationals after rescuing four women who were illegally detained in Tanza, Cavite. According to a report by the Calabarzon Police, the suspects’ residence, which was believed to be used as a “love scam” hub, was raided on the afternoon of Tuesday, August 13. Calabarzon Police Director Brig. Gen. Paul Kenneth Lucas stated that the suspects were former employees of a Philippine Offshore Gaming Operation hub in Bamban, Tarlac, before they left and started their scam operations. According to Lucas, not only Filipinos but also foreigners have fallen victim to the suspects.
