A successful multi-sector outreach program was jointly conducted by various media groups, local government units (LGUs), non-government organizations (NGOs), and military personnel, providing a wide range of free services to residents of Jaen, Nueva Ecija.

The activity offered free medical and dental services, ECG tests, eye check-ups, wellness massages, haircuts and hair coloring, as well as manicure and pedicure services. Free medicines were also distributed to beneficiaries. All services were provided at no cost through the collective efforts of the participating groups.

According to the event organizers—Ma’am Neth L. Carlos, Ms. Ate Melicia DC. Ciriaco, and Mr. Bonifacio C. Dacayanan—the outreach program was initially scheduled for January 2026 but was postponed. The activity was successfully realized this month, fulfilling their commitment to deliver free medicines and essential services to the residents of the municipality.

The organizers reported that nearly 2,000 individuals benefited from the outreach project.

Jaen Mayor Atty. Sylvester C. Austria expressed his appreciation and delight over the initiative, citing the positive impact of the free services on his constituents.

As part of the program, PAPER INC., led by its president, donated two wheelchairs, two blood sugar testing kits, and two blood pressure monitoring kits. In addition, 120 care packs were distributed to senior citizens in the locality.

Dental services were provided by the NGO Bay Area Global Outreach Lions, led by Ma’am Uni Buckley and a team of volunteer doctors from California, USA.

The outreach project was made possible with the support of the Nueva Ecija Provincial Government, Dr. Paulino J. Garcia Regional Medical Center (DrPJGRMC), the Aviation Regiment and Artillery Regiment of the Philippine Army, Nueva Ecija ophthalmologists, the Municipal Government of Jaen, PhilHealth, and other partner agencies.

The activity was held at Blessed Hope Christian School in Jaen, with the assistance of the school’s teachers. Also present and supportive of the outreach were former Barangay Langla Captain Fernando Carlos and Barangay Don Mariano Marcos Poblacion Captain Wheenard D. Dela Cruz.
