Cavite Joins CALABARZON in Celebrating Regional Women’s Month

The Province of Cavite participated in the Regional Women’s Month Celebration on March 20, 2025, at the Ynares Event Center in Antipolo City. The event, themed “WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society,” gathered local government representatives and advocates to promote gender inclusivity.

Key discussions focused on women’s empowerment, social security, and economic opportunities, with speakers from the Philippine Commission on Women and the Asian Solidarity Economy Council. A major milestone was the launch of the CALABARZON Gender and Development Agenda 2024-2030, reinforcing the region’s commitment to gender-responsive policies.

During the event, Cavite officially accepted the hosting duties for the 2026 Regional Women’s Month Celebration. The program ended with “Serbisyo Para Kay Juana,” featuring market fairs and welfare services to support women’s economic growth.
